Those downloading the software could find all the icons on their 7610 phone swapped for images of skulls. When installed the malicious program also locks many of the 7610's functions making it hard to use and harder to repair. The program is only the latest in a series of viruses produced to attack mobile phones... Latest Mobiles open to attack - Delegates at the conference are to be shown a demonstration of security flaws found in the Java 2 Micro edition or J2ME software, jointly developed by Sun Microsystems, Nokia, Sony Ericsson and Motorola. It is supplied with those companies' latest smartphones and PDA phones. Experts say the flaw lies in the way Java tries to keep the operating system from accepting commands from outside...
