We show you the methods you can use for transferring the files marked as free on this site to a Mobile Phone by using your Personal Computer (PC). Refer to the manual for your Mobile Phone to ensure that the file you are uploading is compatible with your Mobile.
Almost any type of file can be copied from PC to Mobile and Mobile to PC providing that your phone is compatible with
the type of file you are trying to copy. The most common cell phones are Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Motorola, Siemens, Sagem, Panasonic, LG, Samsung & Sharp.
The type of files that can be copied depending on your phones capabilities are Mobile Java Games (eMame emulator, Goboy Gameboy emulator, Doom, Lemmings, etc in sis, jar, etc formats), calendar
appointments (Outlook), Polyphonic and Monophonic Ringtones, Truetones, Realtones, MP3 Music, MP4 Movies or Vidlets, Operator Logos, Mobile Wallpapers,
Mobile Screensavers, Audio files (wav, au, MP3), Picture Messages, Themes for Mobiles, Applications (Recipes, World times, etc in sis, jar, etc formats), Documents (Word & Notepad), Spreadsheets (Excel) and many more.
Firstly, right click on your chosen Ringtone (.mid) / Wallpaper (.gif or .jpg) / Theme (.thm) / Screensaver (.gif) that is marked as free and then select either 'save target as' (for Ringtones & Themes) or 'save picture as' (for Wallpapers & Screensavers) to save the file to your PC.
The methods you can use to transfer the files from your PC to your Mobile Phone for Free are;
Data Cables
- Via a data cable from your PC to your Mobile Phone.
BlueTooth
- Via a Bluetooth connection from your PC to your Mobile Phone.
InfraRed
- Via an InfraRed connection from your PC to your Mobile Phone.
The latter options are the most common as most phones now come with either Infrared or Bluetooth connectivity as standard. If your PC does not already have built-in InfraRed / Bluetooth, you can buy one for it by clicking the BlueTooth / InfraRed link above.
You then use the free software provided with your InfraRed / Bluetooth adapter or download software from your Mobile Phones website to copy any compatible Ringtone, Wallpaper, Theme, Screensaver, Java Game, MP3, MP4, etc that you have on your PC to your phone and vice versa for Free.
Alternatively, if you do not have the required connectivity, then you can send any Wallpaper (or Photo) from you PC directly to your Mobile Phone for a small charge.
To do this, save the Wallpaper to your PC and then click
