Emoticons -
"emoticon" is taken from the words "emotion" and "icon". Widely known as graphical "smileys" and sometimes animated, emoticons are a way of conveying emotion in Internet communications such as email and instant messaging (yahoo messenger, msn, etc). Mobile phones such as the Sony Ericsson P900, P910 & P910i have in built emoticons that you can select when sending a text message. Phones from Nokia, Sharp, Sagem, etc will soon have the same capability.
