4 Signs You’re Addicted To Your Smartphone

Smartphones have really taken over our lives, but for the better, I think. I dare you to go one day without your smartphone, and see if your life doesn’t get all jumbled up. That’s how important smartphones are these days.

Did you know that 37% of adults and 60% of teens admit that they are addicted to their smartphones.

Look at that statistic, it’s almost appalling. Dependency on smartphones has truly come to a new extreme.

Here are 5 signs that you are addicted to your smartphone.

1. When you wake up in the morning, the first thing you do is check your smartphone.

Yup. I’m sure you can relate to this. Most people would do this when they wake up. I mean why not? It’s a free country. I’d want to wake up knowing somebody cared enough to contact me or send me an email, don’t you? You can’t expect me to wake up then work right away. You’ve got to savor the day by going slow. And what better way to do that than check your smartphone.

2. You regularly check your pocket to see if your smartphone is there.

The burglars in this city are up and about, so it’s best to check on your smartphone every now and then. I mean imagine if you would lose your smartphone. That would be a nightmare.

3. You bring your smartphone to the bathroom.

Yes, even in the loo you would bring your smartphone to play games or contact your friend or what not. It’s absolutely unhygienic, but it’s absolutely addicting.

4. You bring your smartphone during meal time.

Yes, we’ve all done it, much to the dismay of our parents.
